In the beginning of the year, I drew a class portrait of all of my peers along with myself. I was told that the illustrations of my classmates were an accurate representation of their appearance, while the drawing of myself did not look like me. This made me realize that people view themselves differently than the outside world does, which influenced me to draw people looking into mirrors showing the way that they saw themselves.
